Prenatal Care

Prenatal Care starts when we accept you into our care. You have access to us via pager, email and in-person visits. We follow the Alberta routine schedule but can add appointments where needed. Our appointments are typically 30-60 mins but may vary depending on your care team. Midwives can order Ultrasounds and Bloodwork and you are not required to see your GP.

Labour & Birth

Most families have the option to choose between home, hospital or the Arbour Birth Center. We care for you during your active labour, birth and immediate postpartum period.

Postpartum

We provide support for breastfeeding and set you up for success as a new family. In the week after baby is born, we provide several in home visits and then you are welcomed back to our clinic at 2 and 6 weeks or more often as required.
